The HRRE Challenge provides an evaluation database, which contains 13.4 hours of speech data recorded in highly-reverberant real environments.

1. HRRE Database

The HRRE evaluation database consists of 20 different testing conditions which corresponds to five loudspeaker-microphone distances in four reverberant conditions. These test sets were generated by rerecording the original clean test set from the Aurora-4 database and consider a wide range of speakerto-microphone distances and reverberation times.

To obtain the test files, please write an e-mail to:

You will be asked to submit the proof that you obtained the right to use the WSJ database from LDC (ref. CSR-I (WSJ0), LDC93S6). This may be a signed license agreement or LDC invoice.
